Now here’s an interesting subdomain site from the OpTempo network, Learn Email Marketing. This site has several interesting how to articles about email marketing like how to build an opt-in list and so forth and so on. It’s a rather interesting read if you’re into doing that.

The site itself is WordPress stripped down to the bare bones. It has to be one of the most minimalist themes that I have ever seen. However, it actually works rather well, emphasizing content over flashing graphics. It’s refreshing after seeing so many overly busy blogs.

A good friend of mine recently started a new American Idol blog about American Idol Top 24 contestant Asia’h Epperson. He has included a collection of photos, screen captures and videos of the 18 year old American Idol contestant. He also says that he will be providing additional content about her as her time on the show progresses toward the top 12.

While the site has a simple design it serves to enhance the content about subject for search engines and readers alike. It just goes to show that you don’t have to be fancy to have an effective American Idol fansite.
