Mark Lind & The Unloved

OK, I’ve know that some of you musical mammals can create some ugly MySpace pages but you can bet your bottom banana that Mark Lind & The Unloved have one of the ugliest musician MySpace pages around. A clashing background meets unreadable text, it’s enough to make you regurgitate your vanilla wafers, and not in a good way either!

The good news is that Mark and the fellows play some pretty good rootsy, alt-rock, tunes. So, just close your eyes and listen and you’ll enjoy yourself. Check ‘em out when you get a chance, just don’t look!

Stereo Nurse - Indie/Alternative Band

Stereo Nurse is an Indie/Alternative Band from Maryland and here’s their MySpace Page, done up with a eye burning cadmium yellow background, and they have a standard cookie-cutter page at PureVolume as well. But give these guys a listen. They sound like a cross between Smashing Pumpkins and The Cure with maybe a dash of ColdPlay. Not bad at all.

The Hodaddys on MySpace

Here’s a MySpace band site you should check out, The Hodaddys. They’re a pretty decent Florida based surf rock band. Check ‘em out live if you’re in the Tampa/St. Pete area (I think that’s where they’re from) or give a listen to them on their web page.

I can’t give them really bad marks on their web page since, well, if it wasn’t ugly it wouldn’t be MySpace.
